Emily Ratajkowski’s weight loss to 100 pounds was ‘really, really scary’

Emily Ratajkowski opened up about her “really scary” weight loss experience.

The model and actress talked about how trauma caused her to lose up to 100 pounds.

“I think trauma lives in the body, that’s been my experience,” she said on Tuesday’s episode of her “High Low with EmRata” podcast.

While touring for her best-selling essays last year, Ratajkowski recounted her “sick relationship” with her body in her early 20s.

“When I’m really bad, I lose so much weight,” the 31-year-old London native explained to podcast guest Mia Khalifa, a former PornHub star. “I recently got down to 100 pounds, and it was really, really scary.”

The drastic weight reduction was “a huge game changer” for Ratajkowski, who first rose to fame appearing in Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” and Maroon 5’s “Love Somebody” music videos.

Although she has since gained the weight back, it has taught her to recognize when she is unhappy, she said.

In July, Ratajkowski and her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, with whom she shares 1-year-old son Sylvester Apollo, split after four years of marriage.

Shortly after the divorce was finalized, the “My Body” writer reportedly started dating “Saturday Night Live” alum Pete Davidson — fresh off his nine-month, high-profile romance with Kim Kardashian.

“Pete and Emily have been talking for a few months now,” a source told Us earlier this month, also gushing that the couple “were in the very early stages, but they both really like each other.”
