Florence Pugh’s Response to Dress Backlash Praised by Celebrities—’Respect’

A string of celebrities praised Florence Pugh after the actress shouted sexist remarks about her pure gown.

Aubrey Plaza, Jameela Jamil, Gemma Chan and many other high-profile stars showed their support for Pugh when she opened up about her body shame.

The Little Women star wore a see-through dress that showed off her breasts this weekend after the Valentino haute couture show in Rome and faced an avalanche of criticism over her body.

“This is not the first time and certainly will not be the last time a woman will hear what’s wrong with her body by a crowd of strangers, which is worrying is just how vulgar some of you men may be, said the 26-year-old in a powerful Instagram post, in which she called on society to “free the f ***** g nipple.”

“What was interesting to look at and see is just how easy it is for men to completely destroy a woman’s body, in public, with pride, for all to see. You even do it with your job titles. and work emails in your bio ..? ” she wrote in the long post.

The dress itself is a breathtaking fuchsia pink gown designed by Pugh designed by Valentino director Pierpaolo Piccioli.

“It makes me wonder what happened to you to be so happy to be so upset by the size of my breasts and body ..?” asked Pugh in her caption.

“ok that’s what I said,” he wrote Parks and recreation star Aubrey Plaza in response.

While west side story star Ariana DeBose added: “RESPECT. Period.”

Joey King, van The Kissing Booth fame, wrote: “You are truly so wonderful. You sit in words that feel so much but cannot articulate.”

Nicola Coughlan van Derry Girls and Bridgerton added: “Worship you.”

While the Good place star Jameela Jamil responded with: “You are a magical f ****** queen and we do not deserve you.”

Singer Kate Nash said: “release the nips and f *** all the c ****,” while Eternal star Gemma Chan added: “Love you.”

Samantha Logan van 13 reasons why added: “why are they so pressed ??? like damned.”

While singer and Doctor was Star Billie Piper wrote: “Never looked better. You are simply stunning. Beautiful beautiful women.”

Dan Levy, Karen Gillan and Anna Sophia Robb are among the other celebrities praising Pugh on Instagram.

Pugh concluded her piece by telling her followers, “Grow big. Respect men. Respect bodies. Respect all women. Respect men. Life will be a lot easier, I promise. And all because of two cute little nipples. … “
