
Removing the background of a photo is a great way to protect your privacy and that of people who may be unintentionally in the background of your photos. Removing image backgrounds is also a great way to get a stand-alone image of yourself and then place it in front of another background. For example, I could take a picture of myself at my local ski mountain and then replace the background so I look like I am climbing Mount Everest.
In the following video, I provide demonstrations of four quick and easy ways to remove the background of your images. One way to use this with students is to place themselves in front of landmarks of the world and then write about their virtual visit to those landmarks.
