Game Show Reveals Celebrity Spinoff

Another popular games program is to add celebrities to the mix. The fan-favorite high-input UK game show Money bags is ready to deploy a series of special offers for celebrities. According to TVZoneChannel4 has an order Money bags celebrity special that will feature celebrities including Claire Richards, Tom Read Wilson and Dane Baptiste. The special offers for celebrities will apparently be broadcast later this year, with more celebrities to be announced at a later date.

The news comes after Channel 4 officially picked up Money bags for a second season in February. Presented by Craig Charles, the hit game program “a high-input quiz” that tests participants’ ability to think fast. As money bags pass in front of them along a conveyor belt, participants must grab the money bag with the correct answer before it passes them. Participants who get the correct answer earn the value of that bag, which can be anything from £ 1,000 to £ 100,000. However, if they choose the wrong bag, participants run the risk of losing everything. Every week a huge £ 1 million bag of money also passes over the conveyor belt, and it is up to the participants to try to grab as much as possible.

After being commissioned by Channel 4 in July 2021, the network gave the series a second season renewal in February, seeing the programme’s “successful first season”. It was announced at the time that Season 2 would consist of a 30-run sequence of 60-minute programs. Jayne Stanger, Commissioner, Daytime and Features, said in a press release, “We are so excited to bring back Money bags after the first series received a wonderful reception. It’s great to have Craig back on board to give our day viewers more quick quizzes and tense moments. ”

“After such a well-received first series, we are so happy to see the drama, fun and danger of Money bags “Back to Channel 4,” added executive producer David Flynn of Youngest Media. “With £ 1 million at stake again each week, Craig Charles will challenge more contestants to make a fortune for themselves and change their lives.”

Money bags is commissioned by Jo Street, Channel 4’s head of Daytime and Features and Jayne Stanger, Commissioner, Daytime and Features. The series is produced by Youngest North, Youngest Media’s hub in Leeds recently launched, with Michelle Woods, Aaron Rosenthal, Shaun Parry and David Flynn serving as executive producers. A release date for the reports’ appearances has not been announced.
