Learn as she goes. Kate Middleton takes notes from Princess Diana’s parenting book. Royal etiquette expert Myka Meier explained how the Duchess of Cambridge looks after her mother-in-law when she grows older with Prince William: Prince George (8), Princess Charlotte (7) and Prince Louis (4).
On July 10, 2022, Meier explained to UsWeekly that the similarities between Kate and Diana are extremely telling. “I think what [Kate] probably learned in a sense how to keep her calm. For example, Princess Diana, there [was] so much tension and so much pressure all the time. And I think we see the Duchess of Cambridge following the same path to keep her calm, even if it may be behind closed doors [she] does not feel that way. ” Meier continued, “But [Kate] does an excellent job of never letting go of anything but grace. I think it’s something she definitely took from Princess Diana’s book. “
The etiquette expert also elaborated on how Kate is also honing her own skills to raise her children. “It has actually been said and known that the children do not undergo real etiquette training. The Duchess of Cambridge is actually teaching them herself, ”Meier said. “So kind of how it works internally is while they were preparing to go meet someone or get off a plane, then the Duchess really did a wonderful job of teaching the kids.”
She also said that the children also learned so well from her. “[Kate is] says: ‘Now we’re going to meet this person. This is what you do. That’s how you scratch. ‘ And what I like is that there does not seem to be any pressure to be something they are not. These are just beautiful children and they show respect and do it in the best way that the Duchess and the Duke [of Cambridge] knew how to really teach them. ”
With all the etiquette, William and Kate seem to have mixed characters with his brother, Prince Harry, his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children. According to royal expert Christopher Andersen to Us Weekly on June 9, 2022, the royal family still has persistent feuds and made no effort to talk to each other during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. “William and Kate made no effort to introduce Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to Prince Louis [Lili]”Anderson remarked that there was” a lot of tension “between Prince Harry and Prince William. “As far as I know, no one believes they spoke [to one another]. ”
