To support candidates who prioritize childcare
Vermont Business Magazine Let’s Grow Kids Action Network has announced the launch of the Vote Child Care Fund Political Action Committee. The Vote Child Care Fund was created to support candidates who prioritize the passage of laws aimed at transforming Vermont’s child care system.
The Vote Child Care Fund is a separate segregated fund of Let’s Grow Kids Action Network which is a 501(c)(4) organization that builds the necessary political will to pass laws that fund a high-quality, affordable child care system and maintain
In its first filing Friday, the Vote Child Care Fund reported a total raise so far of $22,265.
“Historic turnover in the Legislature, as well as in state and federal offices this year, has created an unprecedented opportunity to shape Vermont’s future by electing leaders who are ready to act quickly to invest in a child care system that work for everyone. . The policy framework is in place, Vermonters have raised their voices, and now more than ever, Vermont is closer to achieving real child care system transformation,” said Aly Richards, Chair of the Let’s Grow Kids Action Network Board (and CEO of Let’s Grow ).
