A host of local celebrities will face a public outcry as part of a fundraising effort for Big Brothers, Big Sister’s or Bermuda.
The Dunk Tank fundraiser, which will be held as part of the City of Hamilton’s Summer Sundays event at Victoria Park, will feature a number of familiar faces who could possibly take the plunge.
The fundraiser will begin on July 17 at 1pm with Dwayne Caines, CEO of the City of Hamilton to be the first in the tank.
He will be followed by Bishop Nick Dill, Gary Foster Skelton, Bermuda Broadcasting Company Reporter, Carika Weldon, local scientist who spearheaded Bermuda’s Covid-19 test regime, Mr Photogenic, a social media personality, DJ Rusty G, Nikki Bascome, professional boxer, and Nadanja Bailey, an entertainment star.
The family event will also include dozens of games and activities along with live music, Gombeys and a variety of vendors.
A Hamilton City spokesman said: “Summer Sundays in the Park has become a major event in the City events calendar offering a family fun day in the City celebrating local music and talent while also supporting local vendors. “
The free event is scheduled to last from 1pm to 6pm.
