Ontario Child Care Advocates to Release Figures on Workers Needed to Meet Demand for $10-A-Day Child Care, as Part of National Day of Action.

TORONTO–(BUSINESS THREAD)–Families, Early Childhood Educators, childcare workers and childcare advocates will be at Queen’s Park on Wednesday 30 November, as part of a National Day of Action for Childcare Now: Better Pay, Better Quality, Better Access.

Child care advocates in Ontario will hold a press conference to release figures on the number of child care workers and ECEs needed to meet the estimated demand for $10-a-day child care, discuss the child care workforce shortage and ‘ a call for an early years and childcare Workforce Commission and a pay scale.
