Summer Youth Conservatory presents: The 25th annual Putman County Spelling Bee. This sincere musical comedy follows an eclectic group of six teenagers competing for the game championship of a lifetime. While frankly revealing hilarious and gripping stories from their home life, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping to never hear the soul-crushing “ringing” of the bell indicating a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; leaving a player! The losers at least get a juice box.
