Purdue Global Concord Law School launches free social media law microcredential

WEST LAFAYETTE, India – Social media continues its unbridled growth. From Facebook to Twitter, Instagram to LinkedIn, Reddit to YouTube, these virtual platforms have changed the way people communicate, do business and live their lives.

In response to this ever-emerging venture, Concord Law School at Purdue Global is launching a social media law micro-belief letter. This free course at your own pace will provide a deeper understanding of the legal issues associated with social media. With instruction from the Concord Law School faculty, students will study social media law principles in four modules and develop knowledge that can be immediately applied to their careers, education, or personal lives.

“Social media is such a pervasive part of our lives, but most people are not aware of the many legal issues that can be raised, both as individuals and as employees, any time they post, share or comment,” he said. Martin Pritikin said. Purdue Global Vice President and Dean of Concord Law School. “Concord is pleased to be able to provide a free micro-proof in social media legislation that can provide useful background for laymen and lawyers.”
