Tom Hanks‘third child, Chester, is the result of his marriage to Rita Wilsonan actress and singer.
Chester Hanks, often known as Chet, his family caused many problems during his adolescence. So much so that at the age of 17 the authorities had to send him to a rehabilitation facility.
Through his YouTube channel, Tom’s son, who appeared in shows like ‘Shameless’ and ‘Empire’, wanted to take a look back at those moments.
The truth of growing up as a Hanks is one of the claims that Chester posted on his channel.
He confesses to the therapy he had to undergo as a teenager and describes all the benefits he gained from having his father’s name.

“I was at the lowest point in my life, completely lost,” Chester said.
“Up to the point where the hysteria went beyond the boundaries I knew.
“They destroyed me psychologically. I was completely out of control. I would not change my situation for nothing, I love my parents.”
Chester also discussed the benefits of being a Hanks.
“There are a lot of fringe benefits, but sometimes it can be quite strange,” he admitted.
“I was able to do a lot of cool things that a lot of people did not have the opportunity to do: travel the world, stay in nice hotels, fly on private jets, and I feel blessed by this. I would not change my situation. . ”
But he also understands that stars have their disadvantages.
“My experience was even more complicated, because apart from the fact that fame is toxic, I was not even famous,” he explained.
“I was just the son of someone famous, I did nothing to earn any kind of recognition. But what it yielded was a lot of contempt for me.”
